Editorial Policy and Publication Standards

Medical Problems Journal accepts original research articles, case reports, reviews, and clinical studies that represent independent, high-quality scientific work.

To be considered for publication, manuscripts must:

Present relevant and novel contributions to medical science;

Clearly define the research problem, methods, results, and conclusions;

Follow the article preparation guidelines stated below.

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts are subject to a double-blind peer review, which ensures that both reviewers and authors remain anonymous. The peer review process consists of:

  1. Initial screening by the editorial team for formatting and ethical compliance
  2. External peer review by at least two independent experts
  3. Final decision by the Editor-in-Chief based on reviews

Reviewers assess the following:

  • Scientific soundness, methodology, and relevance
  • Errors or discrepancies in tools, data, or conclusions
  • Suggestions for improvements or revisions

Based on the reviews, articles may receive one of the following decisions:

  1. Accepted without revisions
  2. Accepted with minor/major revisions
  3. Rejected (with or without revision rights)

Authors are provided with anonymized reviewer comments. If the authors disagree, they may appeal in writing to the scientific editor. The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
